PURPOSE

Assists Outside Sales team in selling building products and services to business and industrial establishments or individuals at sales office, store, showroom, or customer's place of business by performing the following duties.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Same as cash program account support

Manage financing merchant portal (user set up and maintenance)

Provide training for all users intending on utilizing the program

Closely monitor and reconcile all direct funding accounts

Keep a detailed tracking log for all orders and deposits

Track every transaction from open to close

Work with Accounting and Cash Apps to ensure funds are deposited and applied correctly

Verify that the sales orders are invoiced correctly at all retail locations

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES

This job has no supervisory responsibilities.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.

  • One year certificate from college or technical school; or three to six months related selling experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Prior building materials industry experience preferred.

  • Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions and percentages.
  • Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
  • Knowledge of order processing systems; Spreadsheet software and Word Processing software.

  • Subject to both typical office environment and outside locations with temperature and weather variations.
