Your role and responsibilitiesPartners with the IS Department Heads, Domain Delivery Managers, Workforce Managers and 3rd Party IS Suppliers (as required) to design and build appropriate IS Solutions, all in relevance to the department's practice expertise leading to improved efficiency or operational functionality
Review the status and quality of the ERP services provided to defined geographic area and ERP system(s) of accountability and oversight
Define and execute the actions required to improve the quality of the services and ensure its alignment with business requirements and IS Strategy
Is accountable for implementing and executing the IS capability within ERP practice, across design and build of IS solutions, resulting from Business or SupportFunction demands
Is accountable for effective delivery of ERP Services, as well as maintaining overall standards and expertise for the ERP practice across relevant scope of systems
Ensures effective management of all ERP services covering OLA's management, process management and compliance, release strategy, demand planning & delivery management, resource management and continuous service improvement
Monitors the quality and effectiveness of ERP Services in order to deliver IS projects and IS enhancements on time, on budget and with defined quality
Works with the IS Service Manager for Application RUN to review the quality of services provided and jointly defines action plans to improve it
Accountable for developing and maintaining functional expertise within the ERP practice covering solutions and services implemented across the global and local IS landscape ensuring IS solutions are exploited and adopted to meet business needs
Acts as a consultant and provides advisory service for project initiation, solution discussions and management of dependencies
Collaborate with Business Partners to understand related business process demand to existing or new relevant IS solutions
Supports to ensure work in the application is aligned and compliant with ABB IS Enterprise Architecture and Business Area IS standards and any other applicable ABB IS Directives and ABB IS Guidelines
Manages assigned budget effectively and delivers activities within agreed schedules and costs
Controls budget for the systems of oversight and controls the delivery activities within agreed schedules and costs
Ensures satisfaction with all IS services by assessing expectations, making sure actions are taken to close any gaps, and influencing stakeholder and end user perceptions of IS services. Manages relationships with both IS and business stakeholders to update status, resolve issues and manage expectations
Is accountable to the business for stable operation of the ERP system(s) and manage proactive communication towards the business stakeholders
Provides input for any incident, enhancement or project that has, or might have, a major impact on the Department, and/or on the whole of IS
Informs/consults relevant IS managers and stakeholders on any enhancement or project activities which may have a major impact on the others' areas of responsibility
Ensures the development of ERP solutions adhere to defined principles and working practices, IS process frameworks and governance models
Acts as an escalation point for issues with regard to ERP Services, such as service and delivery complaints, ERP services personnel, service requirements fulfillment
Supports the implementation of the relevant Business Area IS strategy, ABB IS Strategy and the ABB IS Enterprise Architecture for relevant area of responsibility
Implements and executes strategic objectives and targets for the ERP department against which performance can be measured, example: effectiveness, efficiency, quality, and business domain satisfaction levels
