We're looking for a data architecture Senior Manager like you to solve complex challenges and deliver leading-edge solutions for cloud-based enterprise data architectures that support business operations, advanced analytics, business intelligence and data science initiatives within the federal government. As a data architect on our healthcare team, you'll use your extensive technical expertise to lead the design of data architecture solutions for our foundational technologies, such as AWS tech stack, Redshift, Glue, Databricks, Spark, Pyramid Analytics, and SAS. You'll resolve routine data architecture-related issues in collaboration with business analysts and technology teams by partnering with data scientists, analysts, and business stakeholders to understand their data requirements. You will also collaborate with our IT teams to ensure the seamless deployment and maintenance of data solutions. In this role, you'll share your technical expertise, introduce best practices, and use tools like Pega and legacy on-premises applications. You will guide the use of data integration tools and platforms, including AWS, and Spark to automate data workflows and pipelines.

You'll lead your team as it designs, defines, develops, and tests cloud solution components, and you'll serve as a liaison between clients and developers to ensure that requirements are met, and solutions are delivered. You Have:

  • 7+ years of experience in data architecture, including working with AWS tech stack, such as S3, RDS, RedShift, or Glue, and Databricks, Spark, Pyramid Analytics, and SAS

  • Experience with applying Agile Methodologies, including Scrum, Kanban, or SAFe

  • Ability to provide thought leadership to clients across business and technical project dimensions solving complex business requirements

  • Ability to obtain a security clearance

  • Bachelor's degree

Nice If You Have:

  • Experience in cloud-based data platforms, such as AWS, Azure, or GCP

  • Experience with feature delivery and understanding the tradeoffs of a solution or product

  • Knowledge of data modeling, data pipeline processes, and data warehousing

  • Knowledge of relevant data technologies and tools, including open source

  • Knowledge of data governance and data security best practices

  • Ability to demonstrate accountability for ensuring the business and technical architecture of the delivered solution matches client technical and functional requirements and commits to client success

  • Possession of excellent problem-solving and communication skills

  • Master's degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field

  • Databricks, SAS, or related technologies certifications

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual's particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $122,200.00 to $227,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen's total compensation package for employees. This posting will close within 90 days from the Posting Date.
