Job Description

The Client Manager will be responsible for driving the strategic sales and retention efforts within a defined book of business to enable the company's growth and success. The role will be responsible for developing and maintaining executive-level strategic relationships across Tier 1-3 Banking Institutions and aligning the Customers' business challenges, goals, and initiatives with Curinos solutions. The Client Manager will also have the opportunity to partner with a Senior Client Manager to co-manage a defined list of customers in addition to their independent book, providing an exceptional opportunity to gain insights and best practices from the top talent within our Client Management organization.

In this role, you will have the ability to:

  • Establish and manage strategic relationships with Sr. Executive contacts (CFO, CEO, Treasurer, Head of Retail, Chief Marketing Officer, Head of Digital Transformation and/or Client Experience), other strategy owners and key decision makers/influencers within a given territory (SVP+).

  • Understand the Marketplace and Customers business challenges, goals and initiatives and the ability to link Curinos solutions and value delivery.

  • Develop a strategic account plan including annual sales ambitions to achieve sales targets and execution plan including collaboration with sales specialist colleagues and lines of business leaders.

  • Monitor client satisfaction, facilitate improvement as needed, and regularly stay in touch with client's key stakeholders.

  • Leverage industry trends and insights to drive Curinos value that the client recognizes.

  • Achieve an annual revenue goal of $5m+ per annum through cross-selling and up-selling.

  • Understand and promote solutions while linking value to the client needs to expand wallet share.

  • Identify new content opportunities for the firm and work with other team members to bring new ideas and solutions to the marketplace.

  • Recognize new opportunities stemming from current or past project work to help pursue additional project work.

Compensation:A compensation package for this role will include a competitive base salary of $180,000-$200,000 annually paired with a lucrative commission structure that is designed to reward exceptional performance. Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree required.

  • 10+ years' experience in Consultative Sales, Consulting, or Business Development in the Banking segment.

  • Deeply networked within Banking institutions.

  • ANALYTICAL-DRIVEN mindset leading with numbers, using them to create cogent and empirically based arguments; comfortable with analytics to test hypotheses and build ROI validation.

  • STORYTELLER who is able to distill analyses and recommendations into clear, actionable insights that make an impact.

  • An ACHIEVER who thrives in a high-pressure, performance-based environment and seeks to perform beyond expectations.

  • Proactive and a SELF-STARTER.

  • An EFFECTIVE COMMUNICATOR- Both written and verbal.

  • Proficient and accurate in SALES FORECASTING and PIPELINE MANAGEMENT.

  • Strong ENGAGEMENT SKILLS with colleagues and clients; a team player who is willing to roll up sleeves and do whatever is required to get the job done.
