Pay rate: $30-35/hr base plus differential
Weekend Shift: Friday, Saturday and Sunday 5am - 5pm. WKND shift differential pay of 26%.
Job Duties & Responsibilities:
The CNC Maintenance Repair Tech must have the ability to diagnose, repair and prevent potential equipment failure to minimize downtime.
Must have Troubleshooting skills and ability to repair electrical/mechanical CNC Lathes/Mills Citizen/Star machinery.
Experience in pneumatics and PLC logic.
This position will also perform preventative maintenance as well as help in continually developing our preventative maintenance program.
Must be able to work on several projects at a time, to meet the needs of a rapidly changing environment.
Ability to properly troubleshoot failure of mechanical/electrical components.
Good communication skills, ability to follow directions and works well in either an individual or team environment.
Familiarity with all required safety practices associated with the job and Follow safety procedures, security protocol, and wear proper PPE.
Knowledge of CNC Swiss Turn lathes, (we have over 100) Mitsubishi/Fanuc controls and drives, electrical power distribution 480V 208V 115V single and 3 phase.
480v 3 phase; basic wiring of motors (A/C and D/C), CNC Servo motors, pumps, Facilities electric, lighting, etc.
Electrical repairs and troubleshooting on 208-240 460-480 3-phase voltage and low-voltage systems and AC/DC drives,
Repair/remove replace, spindle bearings, Ballscrew's, drives, servo motors.
Familiar with NFPA70E Arc Flash and Lock Out/Tag Out.
Ability to effectively utilize vendors and outside contractors.
Technical School or College Diploma a plus.
Computer literacy and proficiency with Microsoft Office suite.
Knowledge of the Maintenance CMMS - MVP work order system.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
