The estimated base salary range for this role is "50,000 - 70,000" per year.

Individual pay is based upon location, skills and expertise, experience and other relevant factors (salary may be adjusted based on geographic location)

Summary

As our Commercial Sales Solution Specialist, you will be responsible for qualifying project leads, converting leads to opportunities, influencing the specification, and following the project through to completion for one of the following markets: New York City, Southern Florida, or East Central. You will work with architects, designers, contractors, sub-contractors, owners, and distributors to accomplish their goals.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Evaluate project opportunities and target those with the greatest potential for producing positive results
  • Qualify web-generated inquiries and convert them to opportunities within agreed upon timeframe
  • Qualify Dodge project leads; influence project as early as possible, preferably with the specifier
  • Understand competitive products and services
  • Recommend suitable product solutions to achieve desired project goals and sales objectives
  • Engage customers in mutual problem-solving by brainstorming alternative approaches
  • Provide product and technical expertise to customers
  • Develop/write favorable Armstrong architectural specifications for projects
  • Present new product demonstrations and continuing education credit courses for architectural firms
  • Convey messages logically, simply, succinctly, and at the right pace
  • Document all customer and project interactions within CRM
  • Review specifications to ensure accuracy and completely
  • Provide proactive customer outreach communications to introduce new solutions to targeted customers

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree or High School Diplomaand2+ years of related experience and training
