Hiring Immediately; Pay starting $33 to $38, Dependent on Experience; PAID WEEKLY;

Typical Schedule: Monday - Friday (45-50 Hrs./Wk.)

Required Skills and Experience
  • Mechanical experience of 3-5 years troubleshooting, diagnosing and repairing all types of construction equipment preferred
  • Possess an appropriate tool set for the position
  • Experience in Electrical, Hydraulic, and Diesel Engine preferred
  • Tractor/trailer air brake systems very helpful
  • Welding and fabrication is a plus
  • Valid driver's license
  • Current medical card
  • Excellent verbal and written English communication abilities
  • Physical exertion required. Including, but not limited to, walking, standing, stooping, bending and lifting up to 90 pounds
  • Frequent exposure to the elements


Responsibilities
  • Perform minor and major repairs on gas and diesel engines, complex hydraulic systems, electrical systems, and drivetrains to include manual and power shift transmissions on equipment and trucks
  • Assist in training new mechanics, as requested by supervisor
  • Troubleshoot/diagnose malfunctions and repair equipment
  • Perform novice level welding repairs (MIG & SMAW)
  • Inspect, service, and test equipment, ensuring performance to manufacturer specifications
  • Perform routine service on equipment which includes checking fluid levels, changing fluid and lubricating
  • Maintain all decals, safety warnings and company ID stickers.
  • Prepare/maintain accurate records on the maintenance and repair of equipment
  • Maintain accurate warranty records
  • Complete accurate parts orders
  • Notify Branch Manager or designee of damaged equipment or warranty situations prior to initiating repair
  • Maintain company equipment - keep in clean, orderly condition
  • Maintain work area and equipment
  • Accurately manage inventory
  • Maintain a safe working environment
  • Attend technical classes to ensure compliance with standards
  • May perform other duties as assigned
