This program is a great way for CCA to attract and develop exceptional talent as we continue to grow.

Commonwealth Care Alliance is a nonprofit organization providing integrated health care and social support services to people with complex medical needs. Our patients are seniors and persons with disabilities covered under Medicaid or both Medicaid and Medicare. Our innovative care model is nationally recognized for its effectiveness in improving health outcomes for these vulnerable populations. In support of CCA's mission the Member Experience and Engagement Team leverages CCA's successful models to drive widespread adoption of authentic partnerships between health care organizations and the consumers they serve.

What You'll Be Doing:

The Member Voices Program (MVP) Coordinator is a key member of the Member Experience and Engagement team.

The Member Voices Program supports CCA's member experience efforts. The Member Experience and Engagement Team collaborates with CCA business units to engage health plan members (consumers) as authentic partners in the design, development, implementation, and evaluation of care and service solutions.

On behalf of CCA, MVP recruits and engages health plan members in various ways, to gather insights and understand the lived experience they have with their health plan care and coverage. The team recruits, tracks engagement, facilitates discussions, synthesizes insights and provides feedback to business owners.

The Member Voices Program Coordinator will conduct program planning, development, implementation, and analysis. This position reports to the Manager, Consumer Participation and Engagement. And will work closely with the Member Experience Team, with exposure to others within CCA.

Additional Information

  • Remote position
  • All internships will be paid standard and competitive rates for undergraduate and graduate levels ($23 and $25 per hour respectively). Internships are expected to be full-time through the duration of the program.


What We're Looking For:

  • Undergraduate student currently enrolled or a recent graduate within the last 2 years

OR

  • Graduate student currently enrolled or a recent graduate within the last 2 years
  • 1-2 years of relevant experience serving vulnerable populations or in a managed healthcare quality environment preferred
  • Lived, work or volunteer experience with vulnerable populations preferred
  • Must have a passion for CCA's mission and operate with a mission-driven approach and a commitment to consumer-centered care.
  • Basic data management and analysis capabilities
  • Administrative and clerical skills
  • Strong organizational, prioritization skills; attention to detail
  • Interpersonal skills, including excellent written and verbal communication.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Applications
  • Customer service orientation is essential.
  • Ability to take personal initiative and work independently, as well as part of a
  • Ability to meet deadlines in a complex and fast-paced environment
  • Must be a quick learner and able to anticipate situations
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
  • Comfort with ambiguity and ability to adapt to change
  • The ideal candidate will be familiar with working with a remote manager
