Job Description:Vaco iscurrently seeking a detail-oriented and highly organized Payroll Specialist to join a greatteam. The Payroll Specialist will be responsible for ensuring accurate and timely processing of payroll for our employees. This role requires strong attention to detail, proficiency in payroll software, and excellent communication skills.

Responsibilities:

  • Process payroll for employees on a regular basis, including data entry, calculation of wages, and deductions.
  • Ensure accuracy and compliance with federal, state, and local payroll regulations.
  • Maintain employee payroll records and documentation.
  • Respond to employee inquiries and requests related to payroll, benefits, and taxes.
  • Collaborate with HR and other departments to resolve payroll-related issues and discrepancies.
  • Assist with payroll reporting and analysis as needed.
  • Stay updated on payroll regulations and best practices.
  • Provide support during payroll audits and compliance reviews.
  • Assist with special payroll projects and initiatives as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • Proficiency in payroll software and systems, such as ADP, Paychex, or similar platforms.
  • Strong understanding of payroll regulations and tax laws.
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive information.
