Description

The CT Technologist performs complex Computed Tomography imaging procedures under direct supervision, producing diagnostic images of human anatomy and vascular structures. You will provide accurate image archival as well as verification and archival of complete studies on the PACS System. Your role will involve the expert operation of post-processing/3D work stations, and power injectors in the preparation and administration of IV contrast material. As the CT Technologist you will maintain accurate records, ensure patient comfort and confidentiality and adhere to sterile techniques and radiation safety protocols.

Responsibilities also include coordinating exams, communicating with nursing units and demonstrating professionalism and ethical judgment. The technologist must follow departmental policies, maintain equipment and uphold certification/licensure requirements. Additionally, they may be assigned to the Mobile Stroke Unit, participating in dispatch, assessment, and treatment of acute stroke patients and engaging in related research activities.

Salary: $49.73 - $65.56 Hourly

  • * ARRT (CT) licensure - required
  • * Radiologic Technologist Program Graduate - required
  • * A minimum of 3 years of CT experience - highly desired and preferred
  • * Associate degree, Bachelor's degree preferred
  • * Ability to distinguish between types of medical procedures and diagnoses
  • * Excellent communication, interpersonal, prioritization, and decision-making skills
  • * Knowledge of medical and scientific terminology
  • * Strong detail and deadline orientation
  • * Understanding of human anatomy and pathology
