Advantage Resourcing is currently seeking a Water Jet Operator to join our team in Downey, CA. This is an exciting opportunity to secure a steady income.
1st Shift | 7:30 AM - 4:00 PM | $23 - $25 per hour
Requirements:
- Basic math skills and ability to read engineered drawings
- Familiarity with precision measuring devices such as calipers and micrometers
- Minimum of 2 years of previous experience in a similar role
- Ability to stand for the duration of the shift and lift 50 pounds as needed
As a Water Jet Operator, you will play a vital role in setting up and operating a waterjet laser and CNC machines.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate the laser and waterjet cutting machines efficiently and safely
- Load and unload materials onto the laser and water jet machines
- Monitor production to ensure quality and conduct inspections of the finished product
- Ability to work with tight tolerances and understand G Codes
- Perform deburring, drilling, tapping, and countersinking of parts
- Interpret information from engineered drawings with precision
- Maintain the quality of fabricated parts and equipment
- Perform other assigned duties as required
