YOU

As a Machinery Repairman, you will be responsible for troubleshooting, programming, and installing automation equipment throughout the facility. You will also perform routine maintenance and remove, dismantle, assemble, clean, paint and install machinery and equipment throughout the plant. Please be prepared to provide your own hand tools to perform routine repair tasks. Specialty tools and equipment (i.e. jacks, hammer drills, large wrenches) will be provided by the maintenance department as needed.

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING(% of Time)

Perform preventative maintenance of all production and support equipment as required. Provide repair and setup support to the production and warehouse operations as needed, this includes but is not limited to: equipment in the Tool & Die and R&D department. (80%)

Repair, clean, paint, fabricate, assemble, and install equipment or devices for lant use as needed. (15%)

Maintain and submit reports of maintenance work. Assist the maintenance department MRO/ Maintenance coordinator and/or Maintenance Lead in ordering parts or tools. (5%)

DESIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

If you can do everything listed above, you've got what it takes. Perhaps some of the following would be helpful too:

  • 5 years of related experience and/or training preferred.
  • Conduct and assist in the daily electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic maintenance of plant equipment.
  • Demonstrate the ability to troubleshoot, program and install automation equipment throughout the facility.
  • Familiar with programmable logic controller (PLC) systems.
  • Must also provide own hand tools to perform routine repair tasks. Specialty tools and equipment (i.e. jacks, hammer drills, large wrenches) will be provided by the maintenance department as needed.
  • Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
  • Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percentage. Draw and interpret bar graphs.
  • Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand, walk, see, talk and hear. The employee is occasionally required to sit. This role operates large equipment while standing for approximately 8-12 hours, regularly twisting and bending in a repetitive motion. While performing the duties of this job, the employee may frequently lift, carry, push and pull materials and objects weighing up to 50 pounds, and heavier weights with proper equipment.

WORK ENVIRONMENT

The job may risk exposure to heat and/or cold, loud noise levels, vibration, and moving mechanical parts.

TRAVEL

This position requires domestic and international travel up to 5% of the time.

WORK STATUS & LOCATION

This full-time, non-exempt position is located in Riverside CA.

RELOCATION

Relocation is not available for this position.

PAY

$34.68 / hour
