Job Scope/ Summary

The Digital Marketing Manager will direct Digital Marketing initiatives for our Pro (US) business unit. You will partner with the Sr. Digital Marketing Manager to successfully implement Digital and CRM initiatives in support of the Pro business. You will analyze metrics (website, CRM, paid and social ads) to develop strategies that improve our customer experience, increase engagement and conversion, and foster brand loyalty. The Manager will demonstrate strategic thinking and creativity that leverages these data insights to develop digital tools and experiences and customer journey paths in line with Behr business objectives.

Essential Functions

Website Development and Maintenance:

  • Plan, develop and execute user experience strategies to support US Pro campaign initiatives, streamline the Pro customer experience and drive towards conversion and purchase.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Creative Services, IT/QA, Pro Brand Marketing, Pro Sales, Product Marketing and other teams to implement website enhancements and improvements.
  • Take ownership of web development initiatives: gain alignment on functional requirements, design and UX/UI, establish the project timeline, lead the IT development cycle from kick-off through launch, proactively address questions and defects, manage post-launch issues.
  • Take appropriate action on website defects/issues reported by external customers, Pro Sales, and other internal teams.
  • Partner with the Sr. Manager, Digital Analytics to provide detailed reporting and analytics.

CRM Program Management:

  • Conceptualize, strategize and execute CRM initiatives in support of the US Pro business's campaigns (TBD: support for Canada Pro Business)
  • Work with Content Manager who will compose, edit, and proof email copy
  • Work with Content Manager who will compose and formulate SMS/MMS messaging copy.
  • Partner with cross-functional teams (IT, Salesforce, Pro Sales, Product Marketing and other) and external agencies to align on CRM support for their outreach initiatives in support of the Pro business.
  • Create and take ownership of the promotional/communications calendar
  • Collaborate with the Sr. Manager, Digital Analytics to provide detailed reporting and analytics.
  • Based on data outcomes, propose and develop CRM tactics and campaigns to increase subscriptions, engagement and conversion.

Project & Vendor Management:

  • Proactively lead all Digital Marketing campaigns for US Pro business from inception through launch.
  • Create and manage development timelines to align expectations and prioritize efforts with our business partners.
  • Manage Vendor Partners, provide direction as it relates to assigned projects.
  • Create and manage POs, process invoices.
Experience/ Education
  • 4-year Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Digital Media, Advertising, Communications, or related field required
  • 3-5+ years' work experience in B2B digital marketing and CRM programs, including project management experience is required
  • Experience in Salesforce Marketing Cloud is required
  • Excellent copywriting and proofing preferred
  • Experience in HTML is preferred
  • Knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite is preferred
