Job Summary

The Sales Engineer Intern is responsible for the technical support of Leach’s sales and marketing team. Interact with current and potential customers to assess needs and requirements and assist in the highly technical aerospace sales process.

Primary Responsibilities

• Gather technical data creating a technical database of Leach information supporting customer sales process 

• Develop knowledge of underlying technology and product lines

• Direct interface with customers is required

• Develop sales support material, including marketing and training presentations

• Understand and articulate customer requirements to identify or develop solutions to meet customer needs.

• Performs other duties as required.

• Must be enrolled or recently graduated from a four-year university, pursuing a BS in Engineering, Computer Science or other relevant degrees. 

• Advanced level of Excel and Word skills and PowerPoint experience are required

• Must have excellent written and verbal English communication skills 

• Must be detail oriented with an ability to understand and process data accurately and efficiently 

• Strong analytical, verbal, written and interpersonal skills with the ability to interface with all levels of Company customers and management staff.
