The Semel Institute for Neuroscience and Human Behavior is seeking to hire a full-time Clinical Social Worker to join the Antelope Valley-UCLA Public Partnership (AV-UPP) program. You will provide appropriate assessment and intervention services to children (ages 0-21), parents, and families regarding placement, adoption, and attachment. Primary duties include:
Master's degree in Social Work
Valid CA CSW License
Skill, knowledge, and experience with mental health treatment and intervention techniques for children (ages 0-21) and their parents
Experience with Department of Mental Health billing and paperwork requirements (preferred)
Background in parent-child intervention
Knowledge of normal child development, parenting, and child abuse/neglect
Experience providing evidence-based practices to children and families (preferred)
Knowledge of basic medical terminology and issues regarding prenatal substance abuse
Ability to speak clearly, concisely, and in an organized manner to audience of various backgrounds
Ability to function as an integral member of an interdisciplinary team
