As our Trainer-Avionics Harnesses, you will be responsible for designing and delivering training programs on cable assembly processes, troubleshooting, IPC-620, JSTD, and Space Addendum certifications. You will be responsible for ensuring all students adhere to company and customer quality standards while fostering a positive learning environment.


Qualifications & Requirements:

  • 5+ years of experience in Cable Assembly manufacturing, IPC-620, JSTD certified, Space Addendum certification a plus
  • Must have an in-depth understanding of cable types, connectors, terminations, and assembly processes
  • Must be familiar with manufacturing equipment, tools, and procedures involved in cable assembly
  • Must maintain high-quality standards and ensure compliance with industry regulations
  • Must be proficient in identifying and resolving assembly issues or defects efficiently
  • Must be skilled in creating and interpreting assembly instructions, diagrams, and technical specifications
  • Capability to design and develop training materials, modules, and exercises tailored to different skill levels
  • Clear communication to effectively convey technical information and instructions to trainees
  • Aptitude for analyzing problems and finding practical solutions in real-time training scenarios
  • Ability to lead and motivate trainees, fostering a positive learning environment
  • Willingness to stay updated with advancements in cable assembly technology and manufacturing processes

What will you be Accountable for?

  • Develop basic and advanced technical content on a wide variety of material for electrical, mechanical, chemical, and control systems
  • Deliver technical training courses in classroom and field settings using various presentation formats including Instructor Led, Facilitative group learning, active hands-on learning, and functional assessments
  • Provide comprehensive tracking of each Student's completed and required training
  • Provide on-shift training support for production associates and production line leadership, as required
  • Support the Company's mission, vision, values, and goals in performance of daily activities
  • Demonstrated ability to organize and prioritize in a highly dynamic production environment
  • Innovative, flexible, and positive teaching style combined with understanding the needs of students from diverse backgrounds

  • You will provide support to students and fellow staff members, work in a production setting providing hands-on instruction with safety in mind, keep accurate records of student achievement, and have the ability to maintain discipline in a classroom setting
  • In this role you will work with Safety, Quality, Human Resources, and Production departments to set the standard for excellence across the organization
