Job Summary
As a Sr. Data Engineer, you will be responsible for designing and implementing complex data solutions and helping to manage the organization's data infrastructure. You will work closely with data scientists, data analysts, and other data engineers to ensure data is processed, stored, and analyzed efficiently and accurately. You will need to have extensive technical skills and experience in designing and implementing large-scale data solutions.Job Description
Key Accountabilities
- Design and implement complex data pipelines, ETL processes, and data warehousing solutions.
- Build and manage databases and data models.
- Develop and implement data integration and data transformation processes.
- Collaborate with data scientists and data analysts to understand data requirements and provide data in the required format.
- Ensure data accuracy, completeness, and integrity.
- Optimize system performance and recommend improvements to optimize performance.
- Implement and maintain data security measures.
- Ensure compliance with data privacy and data governance policies.
- Mentor junior data engineers and provide technical guidance and support.
- Evaluate new data technologies and make recommendations for implementation.
Education, Experience, & Skill Requirements
- *5-7 years of experience in data engineering, data warehousing, and ETL processes.
- Proficient in programming languages such as Python, Java, or SQL.
- Extensive experience with database technologies such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, or MongoDB.
- Experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau or Power BI.

- Understanding of data privacy and data governance policies.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to lead and manage projects.
- Must have hands-on experience in enterprise or cloud-based ETL development Tools.
- Strong proficiency in Talend Data Integration and Talend Administration
- Experience in Data Warehouse Solution Design Support and Data Analytics.
- Experience in SAP Data sphere/SAP BW4HANA/SAP DWC/SAP Analytics
- Good to understand the financial close and Accounting concepts with an SAP background.
