IT ERP Business Analyst - Baan V / LN (Remote)

The IT Business Systems Analyst will support both the functional and technical areas of deployed ERP systems; comprising of servers that pertain to the development, test, and production environments. This position requires ERP Logistics Support, Implementation & functional skills and ability to understand the business processes and map them to ERP.

Job Summary

• Upgrade and installation of Baan solutions, service packs, porting sets, Tools set, and related components. (for Baan Vc, Baan LN and all Baan related servers., ION, SSRS, Workspace etc)
• Create Custom Administrations, PMC and move of customizations to production environment.
• Actively involved in Performance tuning and optimization, Tool Customization & Development of objects, servers and databases
• Administration of ION, INFOR Barcode and other satellite applications.
• Setup and monitor Baan and Windows jobs.
• Installation of Baan, MS SQL and 3rd party applications when required.
• Data refresh of Test and Development environments on a timely basis.
• Work with INFOR support to log and resolve cases (Tools, System).
• Work with Applications Team Manager to import/install Baan Application related patches.
• Work with operations team to resolve issues related to Baan database, server, operating system etc.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Excellent understanding of all processes that relate to an A&D environment including, but not limited to, functional packages of Enterprise Planning, Sales, Purchasing, Manufacturing, Warehousing, Projects, Quality, Multisite.
• Expert knowledge in Programming Baan V and Infor ERP LN 10.2 or higher
• Knowledge of Infor ION, BI and Business Vault technologies and ability to create BI Dashboards.
• Implementing concepts of Business Intelligence & KPI reporting, is an asset
• Excellent analytical and problem solving skills
• Must be able to clearly communicate ideas in both technical and user-friendly language
• Understanding the PMO methodology an asset.
• Knowledge and working experience of SOX internal controls is considered a plus.
• Willingness and desire to go the extra mile to accomplish targeted goals.
  
  

Required Experience and Education

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or related field.
• Experience with Infor BODs, BDEs and/or Web Services development/integration is a major Plus.
• Experience of integrations with PLM, CRM, MES, Data warehouses and Time & Attendance is highly desired.
• Minimum 8+ years' experience in the Implementations, Integrations, Business analysis & User Support
• Participated in at least 3 full scale Baan implementations, with Multi Sites.
• Experience with Baan ERP Systems is a must (core software functionality such as Sales, Purchase, Manufacturing, Warehousing, Projects & Quality). Extensive knowledge of two or more functional areas is a must. Techno-functional capability is a major Plus.

Licenses, Certifications, etc.

• APICS Certification and related advanced education qualifications desirable.
