Position Summary:
The Ambulatory Nurse Educator is responsible for the design and implementation of education programs and professional development of nurses in the Ambulatory setting; focused on clinical outcomes and practice development. Will work closely with department managers and Clinical Nurse Specialist (CNS) on the educational needs assessment and orientation programs for staff, in the Ambulatory nursing division. Ensures that competencies and skills are current and relevant for the nursing staff.

Salary Range:
Annual Rate Minimum $100,600.00 Midpoint $145,700.00 Maximum $190,800.00
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor of Science, Nursing
Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships across the Health System
Must demonstrate customer service skills appropriate to the job
Knowledge of Title 22 and Joint Commission Requirements
Computer literacy and proficiency with MS Office Products, including Word & Outlook
Demonstrated teaching/education/in-service skills with the ability to lead effectively
Minimum 3 years recent nursing experience in an Ambulatory Setting
Licenses and Certifications:
Basic Life Support(Required)
Registered Nurse(Required)
Preferred Qualifications:
MASTER OF SCIENCE IN NURSING
Must possess the skill, knowledge, and ability essential to the successful performance of assigned duties
Ability to maintain a work pace appropriate to the workload
Experience in adult education
