As an Audit Analyst, you'll play a key role in identifying and evaluating key operational risks and controls that help our business leaders ensure operational effectiveness and strengthen the control environment. Partnering closely with business partners across Capital Group globally, you will be responsible for validating the design and operational effectiveness of our key controls. To thrive in this role, you've been successful in an audit-related position where you've been able to assess process, test operating effectiveness, and recommend controls that mitigate risk.

  • You've had exposure to risk management, internal audit, and/or internal control techniques relating to an asset manager's core operational business and/or technology functions.
  • You've had experience in identifying and interpreting meaningful information by interrogating large amounts of data (i.e., data analytics), leveraging technology to help further strengthen control environments.
  • You've helped manage projects, working well with and through others on cross-functional and enterprise initiatives, and resolving matters of complexity and ambiguity.
  • You've learned how to prepare presentations to management, committees, and other stakeholders to discuss identified risks and opportunities to strengthen the control environment.
  • You exercise good judgement and have a process for managing competing priorities. You are totally comfortable when priorities shift, and you manage change with steadfast composure.
  • You've learned how to build strong relationships with business partners providing broad risk management and technical expertise.
  • You raise your hand when you see a problem. Your colleagues turn to you to gather input for decision making.


Los Angeles Base Salary Range: $93,384-$149,414

In addition to a highly competitive base salary, per plan guidelines, restrictions and vesting requirements, you also will be eligible for an individual annual performance bonus, plus Capital's annual profitability bonus plus a retirement plan where Capital contributes 15% of your eligible earnings.
