LinQuest is seeking a Web Application Software Developer Intern to join our team in our El Segundo, CA office. This will be an on-site position.

LinQuest is seeking a Web Application Software Developer Intern to join our team in our El Segundo, CA office. This internship will span from June 1, 2023, through August 31, 2023, with the potential to go part time past this period.

This intern will support and develop updates to the MSEIT Integrated Data Environment (IDE), also known as the Enterprise MSEIT Collaboration and Communication (eMC2) tool. This intern will also learn professional skills related to teamwork, coordination, and communication. They will expand their skills in relevant technologies and languages through personal research and share that knowledge with the MSEIT team.

Responsibilities:

  • Communicate and coordinate with users to understand their business needs.
  • Identify web app strategies and design approaches.
  • Identify steps and build items needed to achieve capability.
  • Prototype solutions on a SharePoint 2016 server, identify and run appropriate test cases.
  • Demonstrate prototype solutions to the product owner, and verify solutions are deployed correctly
  • Update the task status backlog, update associated feature documentation, and provide weekly status updates to management.

Required Skills and Experience:

  • You must be a college student in good standing, enrolled in a 4-year university in your Senior year (preferably graduating in Summer 2024, Fall 2024 or Winter 2024)
  • Pursing a Bachelors degree in (Computer Science or Engineering)
  • You must have a minimum college GPA requirement of 3.00 on a 4.00 scale. If you are selected for an internship, you must maintain a cumulative GPA of 3.00 after each completed semester/term
  • Must be a U.S. citizen with the ability to obtain a DoD security clearance is required to be considered for this position

Compensation:

  • Starting hourly pay for this position is $24 an hour
