SPA's Space and Intelligence Division provides multiple organizations within the United States Space Force and Intelligence Community with timely and objective assessments and recommendations that integrate technical, operational, programmatic, policy and business analysis. We focus on key clients in the space community including the US Space Force's Space Systems Command (USSF/SSC), one of the three designated Field Commands under the space service branch. We work to provide integrated solutions based on information and communications throughout the chain of command to ensure clear and consistent analysis and recommendations that are aligned to strategic and leadership goals while still being executable by the working level technical communities.

SPA has a near term need for one (1) Logistics Manager supporting SSC at Los Angeles AFB in El Segundo, CA.

Responsibilities

The Logistics Manager provides support to all activities that will be involved in providing needed logistical support to include, but not limited to, integration of actions required of each activity into a comprehensive logistics plan in support of or to be incorporated into overall program plans. Additional duties include but are not limited to the following:

    Monitor progress toward meeting the logistics plan and identifying causes and impact of delays or other problems (varying degrees of responsibility for taking actions to prevent or overcome such problems may also be included);
  • Adjust plans and schedules for all related actions as required by delays or changes to logistics requirements;
  • Evaluate plans for and provision of logistical support for feasibility, efficiency, and economy, and to develop alternatives when required.
Qualifications

Required Qualifications:

  • Active Secret clearance
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field, such as Logistics, Management, Business, Economics, Finance, Accounting, Mathematics, Science, Technology, Engineering, or Statistics
  • 8 years of experience performing acquisition logistics activities in support of Department of Defense acquisitions
  • Experience utilizing Microsoft Office Suite
  • Certification in Logistics or work equivalent experience required

Desired Qualifications:

  • Masters degree
  • 10 years of experience performing acquisition logistics activities in support of Department of Defense acquisitions
  • SSC program experience
  • Level III certification Lifecycle Logistics

Please note that the salary information shown below is a general guideline only. Salaries are commensurate with experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations. California Pay Transparency Range: 120k - 210k
