The Large Business & International division is hiring Actuaries in locations nationwide.

About the Large Business & International (LB&I) division:
LB&I is responsible for tax administration for domestic and foreign businesses with a United States tax reporting requirement and assets equal to or exceeding $10 million, as well as the Global High Wealth and International Individual Compliance programs.

About the Actuary position:
Actuaries analyze complex actuarial problems and issues involved in tax law and court case decisions to determine tax liability under the Internal Revenue Code. They represent the IRS in conferences with taxpayers, their legal representatives, the insurance industry, and actuarial consultants on tax issues and procedures. Actuaries work as a member of an examination team, serve as consultants to examiners, and expert witnesses in tax litigation cases involving life insurance issues.
