General Description: 
A Mathematician in the Quantum Programming group is responsible for helping design, develop, and maintain technical and mathematical software pertaining to quantum computer software.
  
Essential Duties: 
Design, develop, and maintain software written in Common Lisp, Python, and other specialized languages for mathematics
Conduct mathematical investigations
Produce and prove mathematical algorithms pertaining to quantum computing and compilation
Document investigations and their outcomes
Take part in the authorship of formal publications
 
Required Skills:
Programming in Common Lisp, Python, or other similar language
Research-level mathematics discipline
Clear written and verbal communication

Required Education:
PhD in mathematics
 
Special Requirements:
US citizenship
Ability to obtain a US security clearance

Compensation:
The base salary range for this full-time position is $132,765 - $165,983 + bonus + benefits.
