What You'll Do

The EVMS Systems Intern will be involved in supporting Project Controls and Project Management withreporting, data analysis, as well as involvement in other areas of project controls and projectmanagement. The Intern will perform a variety of general tasks in support of EVMS Systems work execution.Work involves multiple and progressively difficult tasks. Learns project controls function and how workintegrates with other organizations on projects. Applies general knowledge of office equipment, informationsystems, terminology, and diversified procedures. Ensures actions are processed correctly, makes applicablechanges in PC tools and performs other assignments as required. Involved in process changes, continuousimprovements and supports efforts to accommodate new methods and procedures.

Specific Job Responsibilities:

  • Analyzing data for projects and reporting
  • Troubleshooting and maintaining project data in PC tools/systems
  • Maintaining Project records and requirement documents
  • Processing monthly reports with emphasis on quality products
  • Regularly review department documents for quality and accuracy
  • Must possess the ability to work effectively within a fast-paced environment with exceptional customerservice
  • Performs other responsibilities as assigned by PCM, which may become essential to the positionqualifications

Minimum Job Requirements
  • To be considered for the EVMS Intern position, you must be working toward or have completed a Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Statistics, Data Analytics or other relatable disciplines. Students who have graduated are eligible up to two years post-graduation. In addition, you must have completed (at a minimum) your sophomore year in college, have an overall GPA (grade point average) of 2.8/4.0 or above, and be a United States Citizen.

Requires a Q clearance; however all qualified candidates will be considered regardless of their current clearance status. The ability to obtain and maintain a Department of Energy Q clearance is required.

Position may require entry into Materials Access Areas (MAA) and participation in the Human Reliability Program (HRP). If HRP is required, candidate must complete a counterintelligence-scope polygraph, pursuant to 10CFR 709. Medical requirements may apply.
