The ideal candidate will have experience in selling Enterprise solutions ranging from Storage, Software to Cloud. Experience in selling SaaS/Consumption based solutions is a plus. The successful candidate will be Customer Obsessed, a Creative Thinker with a Passion for Success and is Team Centric.
This position will be remote.
Responsibilities:
* Proactively prospect, identify, qualify and develop a sales pipeline.
* Achieve and or exceed Quarterly and Annual quota requirements.
* Build strong and effective relationships and Champions.
* Understand our customer's challenges and articulate the Seagate value proposition.
* Build territory and account plans.
* Develop and deliver proposals that clearly address the customer's business, technical, TCO/ROI requirements.
* Engage across Seagate sales teams and functional areas as an internal partner.
* Build long-term relationships with trusted Seagate partners (Reseller and Ecosystem).
* Attend and participate in QBR's and various product and sales trainings.
* Experience selling solutions that require a consultative, solution-based approach.
* Strong Demand Generation skills with the ability and passion for closing new business.
* Previous Sales Methodology training (i.e., MEDDIC, Command of the Message, SPIN, Challenger).
* Previous experience in Storage, SaaS, Cloud, Services.
* Skilled at uncovering customer challenges, requirements and needs.
* Individual thrives in a highly competitive, fast-paced environment with a high sense of urgency.
* Ability to establish credibility and forge solid/positive professional relationships with peers and upper management. Collaboration and cultural fit critical.
* Strong written and verbal communication skills, as well as an ability to interface internally and externally with all levels of management.
* Proficient with SFDC, LinkedIn, Navigator, Microsoft Office and other sales tools.
* Bachelor's degree or equivilant experience with field sales experience in a fast-paced competitive market with a consistent track record of success and quota achievement.
